Payment is made through M-Pesa. When you upgrade, an M-Pesa payment prompt is sent directly to your phone through the Safaricom Daraja API. Gredli does not see or store your M-Pesa PIN or account details.

Trial

Try the full paid tier before you commit

Every new school gets a trial of the full paid features.

How the trial works

  • Every school starts with a trial lasting one full term (three months).
  • The trial includes 3 assessment creations with full paid-tier access.
  • If you do not use all 3 assessments within the trial term, the remaining assessments carry forward and remain available until they are used.
  • Once both the trial term has ended and all 3 trial assessments have been used, the school moves to whichever tier it selects: Free, or a paid plan.
  • No payment details are required to start the trial.

Yes. Creating assessments, entering and publishing marks, basic analysis, merit lists and report forms are free with no time limit. Free report forms and merit lists include the Gredli name, a link to the app, and brief promotional text in the footer.
The paid tier includes everything in Free, plus full class-level performance analysis, bulk SMS to parents, push notifications for teachers, lesson plans, class notes, assessment papers, and report forms and merit lists without Gredli branding.
When you choose to upgrade, Gredli sends an M-Pesa payment prompt to the phone number you provide, using the Safaricom Daraja API. You approve the payment directly on your phone using your M-Pesa PIN. Gredli never sees or stores your PIN or M-Pesa account details.
Yes. A school can move between tiers based on its needs each term. Downgrading to Free keeps your assessment history and learner data intact.
Any teacher can register a school. The person who creates the school account becomes the school admin. A school can have up to 2 admin accounts, and admin access can be reassigned later.
No. There is no setup fee and no long-term contract. Payment is per term, and a school can choose not to renew at any time.
